Connect Account - Link your bank account(s) with Duplo

Choose Signatory Type - Select your preferred signatory type- single (only one user is required to approve direct debit mandate) or multiple (two or more authorized users must jointly approve the mandate)

Verify - We will submit your mandate to NIBBS for approval. This usually takes between 48-72 hours

Approve and Pay - Once all is in order, approve your expenses and make payments directly from your linked account(s)

How is direct debit different from the wallet funding method?

With the wallet method, you must first move funds into your Spend wallet before making payments. With direct debit, funds are pulled directly from your bank account when a transaction is initiated — no pre-funding required.

expanding our list of integrated banks.

Yes. All direct debit transactions are processed through secure, encrypted channels and
comply with regulatory standards and bank authorization protocols.

No, the limit is set by your bank. This limit applies to all customers using direct debit.

You can cancel a scheduled direct debit before it is processed. However, once a debit has been authorized and processed, it cannot be reversed unless there is a failed or disputed transaction.

Yes. You can choose your preferred payment method at the point of transaction- wallet or direct debit- depending on what suits your needs at the time.

Yes. You can add and activate multiple business bank accounts for Direct Debit. When you are making your transaction, simply select your preferred account.
